Charitable Gift Planner
The Charitable Gift Planner will be part of a growing Charitable Giving Services team responsible for providing expertise and charitable planning solutions to donors, financial advisors, and organizational endowment partners. These solutions are often integrated within larger financial and estate planning topics such as legacy planning, retirement distribution, tax efficiency, and wealth transfer. This position typically requires travel as needed throughout the year for one-on-one customer meetings, to train advisors on chartable planning strategies, and lead presentations to educate and inspire generosity. The position also requires collaboration across Thrivent’s advice, distribution, and generosity partners to achieve Thrivent Charitable’s goals pertaining to fundraising, grantmaking, and customer satisfaction. For Gift Planners who are also attorneys, their legal skills will continue to be relevant and used in their daily work.
Sr Marketing Specialist
The Sr. Marketing Specialist leverages data and analytics to drive key business decisions, recommendations and to continuously improve marketing results. This position provides leadership to medium sized work streams or participates as a team member on larger or more complex work streams, projects and initiatives that engage cross-organizational team members. The senior specialist role is responsible for some level of strategic development, as well as execution of tactics.
Senior Advisor, Investments
Consultant
The Senior Advisor (“SA”) is a consultant who will be a seasoned, strategic, broad-thinking and agile leader, helping to implement Thrivent Charitable’s new investment strategy and offerings. The SA will serve as a primary liaison with the CEO, Investment Committee and external investment advisors (currently Cambridge Associates [“CA”], Veris Wealth Partners and Thrivent Asset Management). CA plays a large role in preparing Committee materials and presentations. The estimated time commitment for the SA is ~10 hours per week though there may be some weeks that require more or less as needed.
